Arimidex may help prevent side effects such as gynecomastia (male breast enlargement) from developing due to the aromatization of anabolic steroids. When used for this purpose, Arimidex is typically introduced in week two of the cycle and taken for the entire length of the cycle at 0.5mg twice a week.
